Good Product.

I am using this product since three days.
Pros: 1. Very good display even for composite signal(AVI- standard definition)
2. 2 HDMI, 2 USB, 1VGA, 1 composite and 1 component input.
All ports work well.
3. Remote is user friendly.
4.Head phone and composite video output.
5. Well written user manual.
6. USB plays most of the video formats since media player is built in.

Cons: 1.Sound quality is just OK when used with stand on a table with wall about 1
foot away. Not checked the sound quality with wall mounting.
After using it for more than one week, I could improve the sound quality very much by using my old Desk top PC speakers by connecting them to earphone socket of the TV.

Overall a very good product, considering the Price and flipkart service.

Just Buy It !

I have Purchased this TV on BBD @20200 after applying all discounts, its almost 15 days since i am using this TV in my bedroom .this TV is having 3.5mm Jack which we can use to connect External speaker & Headphone which other LG TV's doesn't have .Having Inbuilt stabilizer, .mkv /avi format are working properly , Having Flexible Wall Mount Brackets ( no other brand is providing) which is a great help to watch TV's from different angles, 5 Star Rating from BEE so its a less power consuming TV.

Pros:
Sound Quality: 9/10 (Bass is lacking )
Picture Clarity: 9/10 (coz doesn't having FHD)
Features: 10/10 (all required Feature are there)


Cons:
Low sound while connecting external Speakers.
only 1 USB port ( for me its sufficient, might be for others its not)
will update more if found in future.

Pandora Portronics; good and not so good

Pandora Portronics is a great device. It was up and running the moment it was connected to the TV's HDMI port and powered by by connecting to the USB port.

After downloading eZcast on mobile/laptop/ipad it was quite easy to connect the device to Pandora. Search for Pandora wireless network on the mobile/PC and connect. It asks for a password which would be displayed on TV. The device then connects to the TV, wirelessly. Then we can start eZcast app on the device and directly stream audio or mirror/extend the screen. We were able to check the connectivity with iPad, windows laptop and an android mobile phone.

Only issue is being seen with streaming videos. If the video is from internet then speed seems to be a bottleneck. The image plays in jerks and the audio is unclear or clips heavily.

Hence so far my experience has been:
1. This is a great device to connect to the TV screen any device like mobile/tablet/PC and convert the TV screen into a projector
2. Doesn;t seem to be good for streaming videos; esp bad for YouTube videos. If the video is locally stored on the device then it is much better,

Vu42D6475 FHD LED TV

Hi there,

Frankly, I was looking at buying a 40+ inches FHD LED TV from so-called branded manufacturers Sony or Samsung or LG..but these were all beyond my budget. After much thought process, I decided to buy a 42" FHD LED TV from Vu.

This model is indeed big and just fits into my living room which is 22ft x 16ft. I purchased it for INR25990. Got the delivery on Sunday 03/05/2015 and the installation / demo was done today morning by Flipkart Technician.

The picture quality is too good, right now running in SD mode. Have a Tata Sky HD set-top box, shall migrate to HD package shortly. It has an aesthetic build, really sleek. My relatives all have Sony / LG / Samsung LED TVs. And I believe the picture quality in my newly owned Vu TV is on par with other branded TVs.

A few people here have mentioned about poor sound quality, but I felt it isn't so bad as expressed. However, we do have options for audio out (dedicated port) so people who are not satisfied with in-built speakers can always connect external speakers for deep bass.

So far no issues. My family members too liked the TV. :-)

Great TV for an even greater price!

i was looking to buy a full HD LED tv with 42'..Before buying this tv,i have done extensive research for almost 4 days to figure out the better one with in my budget.Finally i got this UV 42' full hd Tv for 27K on flip kart,coming to buying experience i have ordered this tv on 24 march and i got it on 26 march..it was very quick and smooth starting from product purchase to installation..And this is Not an indian made tv..I saw lable on box vu, importing it from other country..The Screen is very big and build quality of this product is Awesome..picture quality is very good,the Sound quality is average..This TV is a BEAST at this price point..I truly love it..And as usual flipkart does a good job in delivering the product at cheap price

Good Brand - Budget TV

First Kudos to Flipkart and ekart,
The TV was delivered exactly with in 30 hours and installed with in 36 hours of ordering, and the VU Service engineer was at my door step exactly after 3 hours of delivery.

This TV is simply awesome and Great value for money.

Pros:
- Slim and Decent look
- 3 HDMI and 2 USB Ports,
- 1:1 Pixel mapping is really good when you are connecting computer to TV via VGA or HDMI (Preferred Resolution : 1920 X 1080)
- Built-in media player, plays all the formats


Cons :
- No audio output for .mkv video format files(only video will play)
- Recommended to use a stabilizer if any frequent power interrupts.


The TV is continuously running for past 48 hours. So far no issues

And I'll suggest others also to buy this product because 42" LED TV is just below 28 K.

Superb TV!!!

The TV is Superb and nothing less than Samsung, SONY.. I got normal cable connection and I'm surprised that some channels are really like HD viewing, NDTV, Times Now, Star, Colors, MTV etc and other channels to some extent are manageable but can't wait to my TV see in HD. But, HD movies are excellent when played through Pen drive & HMDI. I got to give a full thumbs up for this TV in all aspects:-)..

The only thing I want to clarify is about the Sound.Like some commented, the Volume and Sound clarity is good and It fills in my room of 16x20 VERY WELL. So its not an issue at all..

Last thing, don't compare with SONY & Samsung in showroom as dealers play their ultra HD clips to woo customers.Take a clip from them and test this TV for clarity and I'm 100% sure, It will match with top end LED TV's.
To sum it up.. Just BUY BUY BUY
