आजकल मॉडुलर किचिन बनवाने में  इंटीरियर डिजायनर 800 से 1000 रूपए पर स्कवायर फिट रेट लेते हैं , कुछ दुकानदार 600 से 800 रूपए पर 
पर स्कवायर फिट लेकर भूटान सुपर आदि सस्ती प्लाई बोर्ड लेकर काम करते हैं | 
कितनी प्लाई लगनी है , कितना बोर्ड लगना है  कितनी माइका लगनी है कौन सा मेटेरियल लगना है , आइये इसका गणित समझते हैं | 

कैसे हम कम लागत में अच्छा काम करा सकते हैं :-
कारीगर किचिन के लगभग  200-220  रूपए प्रति स्क्वायर फिट लेकर काम करते हैं , और अलमारी इत्यादी 180 -200 प्रति स्कवायर फिट के लगभग 

अगर बात करें प्लाई वुड टिम्बर मार्किट की तो नोयडा सेक्टर 9 में काफी बड़ा प्लाई वुड टिम्बर मार्किट है , कई सारी शॉप्स हैं | 

आपको सभी तरह का सामान एक जगह मिल जाता है और रेट्स में घमासान कम्पटीशन है तो बेहतर विकल्प मिलते हैं 

पहले तय करना चाहिए की घर में क्या और कितना काम करना है , जिससे सामान एक बार में अच्छी कीमत पर लिया जाये , और बार बार की भागदौड़ बच जाये :
किचिन , अलमारी / वार्डरोब , फाल्स सीलिंग , पलंग , टी वी शो केस , बाथरूम अलमारी ,  वाशिंग मशीन  रखने के स्थान पर अलमारी इत्यादि 
सामान्यत किचिन में 80 स्क्वायर फिट तक के सरफेस एरिया में काम हो जाता है , तो इसकी तीन -चार गुना , या चार गुना लकड़ी बोर्ड में आसानी से काम निपट जायेगा |  तब 80 गुना 4 अर्थात ३२० स्कवायर बोर्ड में पूरा काम हो जाना चाइये , कुछ लकड़ी काटने में बेकार भी होते है तो जरूरत के हिसाब से २-३ बोर्ड एक्स्ट्रा खरीदकर कर चल सकते हैं | 
सामान्यत बोर्ड  8 बाई 4 = 32 स्कायर फिट के होते हैं , तब इस आधार पर किचिन के लिए 11-12  बोर्ड ले सकते हैं , मीडियम रेंज के बोर्ड 45 -50 रुपये 
प्रति स्कवायर फिट की दर से मिलते हैं , सेंचुरी सैनिक बोर्ड 65 -68 रूपए प्रति स्कवायर फिट की दर से , वाटर प्रूफ अच्छी कंपनी के बोर्ड 80 - 85 प्रति स्कवायर फिट की दर से मिलते हैं , अगर हम 50  प्रति स्कवायर फिट की दर वाला बोर्ड लेते हैं तो एक बोर्ड की कीमत 1600 रूपए तक की आती है , 
और इस तरह 12 बोर्ड की कीमत 19200 रूपए आती है ,
किचिन अलमारी के अंदर की तरफ ऑफ़ वाइट माइका का चलन है , पुराने समय में भीतरी साइड पेंट का चलन था | 
ऑफ़ वाइट माइका का रेट लगभग  250 -280 प्रति स्कवायर फिट में नार्मल , और 320 -380 प्रति स्कवायर फिट में बेहतर क़्वालिटी की मिलती है | 
किचिन अलमारी की तीन सरफेस को ध्यान में रखते हुए 7 - 8 शीट में काम हो जाता है , ऑफ़ वाइट शीट अलमारी और अन्य कामो को  ध्यान में रखते हुए 
ज्यादा लेनी चाहिए  , ऐसे ही बोर्ड | 
हेंडल की जगह आजकल G प्रोफ़ाइल का चलन है और किचिन में नीचे के बॉक्सेज़ में यह बेहतर रहती और लम्बे समय तक ख़राब नहीं होती | 
और सामान्यत कारीगर हेंडल व G प्रोफ़ाइल जो भी लें, रेट लगभग बराबर रहते हैं | 
किचिन , ऊपरी अलमारी , अलमारी, वशिंग मशीन बॉक्सेस जो बालकोनी में बनने हैं , उनमे ध्यान ये रखना चाहिए कि पलड़े मूवेबल हों मतलब डिटेचेबल हों और बड़े छोटे सामन के लिहाज से एडजस्ट किये जा सकें  

लकड़ी के बोर्ड से माइका जोड़ने के लिए एस एच एडहेसिव ऑनलाइन भी ले सकते हैं , पिडिलाइट का फेविकोल महंगा और अच्छी क्वालिटी का है ,
और अमेज़न इत्यादि ऑनलाइन कम्पनीज़ से लेने से 20 - 50 kg का डिब्बा कम कीमत पर मिल जाता है |

किचिन की बाहरी माइका चुनने में सावधानी बरतें , क्योंकि आकर्षक किचिन सभी को पसंद होती है और इसकी मुख्य भूमिका रहती है , किचिन माइका 600 से लेकर 4000 रूपए की 8 बाई 4 (32 स्क्वायर फिट की शीट मिलती है ), 80 स्कायर फिट के लिए 3 शीट ठीक हैं , कारीगरों के वेस्टेज इत्यादि के लिहाज से

चिमनी को कवर न कराएं तो बेहतर है , अक्सर इंटीरियर डिज़ायनर , ठेकेदार चिमनी के कुछ हिस्से को कवर करने की सलाह देते हैं ,

जिससे उनका काम थोड़ा बाद जाये और ज्यादा दाम मिलें , लेकिन बगैर चिमनी को कवर कराये भी किचिन बेहद आकर्षक दिखती है ,

Perfect near the dinner table of a small family.

We've been using this MwO for over a month now, almost daily and for every meal. It is the perfect heating device for a small family like ours (3 of us).

We have another much bigger and fancier one in the kitchen, with grill, convection, etc., purchased with a lot of enthusiasm but hardly used.

The idea is to keep it near the dining table. Because all that most of us do with it is heat food just before eating. This one does the job perfectly well, besides cooking the occasional idli, egg poach and popcorn too.

The build is hardy, the knobs robust.

At less than 4K, life surely deserves such an option, no?*****************
